I was not the seller, but am a satisfied buyer. I just installed today and all is well with my Cambridge Audio tranport and DAC with reclocking. These optical inputs seem easily damages and are very vulnerable if you are moving cables, etc. The seller is Anoymyous1 (sp) shown at the beginnng of the thread. Service was good and product as indicated.

Mr Anonymous Sir - if you still have some of these sockets, would you be prepared to post to the UK? I've only just registered on here so I can't contact you directly.

My DAC now emits crackling through the speakers both with and without an optical cable connected. I think changing out the socket would be a sensible 1st step to fix this (it's fine when connected to another source via 75ohm coax, so definitely a problem with the optical side).

Hi Anonymous1-

I ripped my Pioneer Receiver (VSX-09TX) apart this evening to figure out what happened to the fiber optic receiver module.. There were two broken pins; apparently from what I've read these are easily damaged??

Do you happen to have ONE of these RX176 pieces left for sale!?
I hope I don't have to put in an order from Hong Kong hahaa -I'm a new user, pls msg me at your convenience. Thanks!
