Thumbs up TX102, Seiden Switches and Arcam Gear For Sale

Hi,

In order to get some dosh to put towards some new amplification I have decided to slim down the collection a bit!!

I have for sale a pair of unused Stevens and Billington TX102 Passive Magnetic Attenuators and a pair of very high quality Seiden switches to match (volume and input selection). I organised a group purchase on DIY Audio in Dec 2004, Jan 2005 and ordered two sets for myself. I have been using only the one set as an anticipated project didn't materialise, so the other set has been sat, boxed, in perfect condition. IIRC, these TVC currently sell at around £150 plus VAT EACH. The Seiden switches sell for £30 each plus VAT I am selling the package (2 x TVC and 2 x Switches) for what I paid - PM me for the price please. I'd rather sell the cans and switches as a set, but would consider splitting.

Some details are here: http://www.stevens-billington.co.uk/page102.htm

I'm also slimming down the Arcam collection - I have 2 x D290P and one D290 amplifiers (one 290P and the 290 I bought new in 1994). Not boxed, but in good condition and from a smoke-free home. Guess I'd be looking for around a ton for each of those. I also have a (rare) D250 transport. Again, good nick and I have replaced the tray gear wheel - What do you reckon? £150? I also have an A6 CD player - recapped (but will sell with the original caps in a bag for completeness) and in reasonable nick. I guess around £100 - It has the same main board as the A5, if that helps. I can send detailed photos to interested parties.

I would also consider some part-ex and cash adjustment for a nice Hadcock GH228 for use with my Lenco and Garrard 401.

Also willing to consider a discount for multiple purchases!!

Shipping will be Special Delivery in the UK. I could get a price for elsewhere, but it might be a bit steep. Either way, all parcels will be fully insured and will fall to the purchaser. Pse PM me for payment options (but I'm not too keen on funding PayPal for non-eBay sales, so while that option is open, I'm afraid that my charges will need to be covered).

Thanks for looking!

Jon
