For sale is a Peter Daniel NOS DAC installed in a black Hammond 1455N2201 extruded case.
This is the all in one budget (gold) PCB and the differences to the premium is Elna power supply caps instead of Black Gates and some resistor quality differences. It was originally made with the Hammond transformer but I found it had too much buzz for my liking so was changed to a toroidal. The back panel has a switch, LED and the captive lead for 240V (which is fused). Selling for A$275 plus shipping. |
