Wanted: SINGLE, UNMATCHED output transformer of any type. Cheap is good.
I want to learn how to build and work with tube amplifiers. I figure a guitar amplifier is a good place to start, seeing as how distortion is not so much of an issue, you only need to build one channel, and I can use cheapo tubes.
I'd like to get an OPT of reasonable size. I'd ideally like one for a GU-50 push-pull pair (roughly 2 kohms), but I'll take what I can get. This is not a high-end project so much as a goofy summer project. |
