I'd like an upgrade from my AKG K240's. So long as it's in good functional condition, I could care less about what the headphones look like - I'm not shy of repairing them, and I can fashion new headbands if necessary.

I have some VERY old Stax - SRX Mk III, with the separate adaptor box. They work fine. The only problem is that they make a high-pitched popping sound, like bubble wrap popping, when you move around. Replacing the earpads didn't help. I think the transducers are deteriorated and sticky.
If you're interested let me know. |
