Default Parting

Yes, they could be parted to save shipping. It would be a shame, the cabinets are nice.

Here is the antiphase response.

yeah, I love the cabinets, but it would be far too expensive for me to ship them... plus I have some cabinets I'm looking to add drivers too.

Can you give me/email me more info on these speakers? What type of cabinet they are in/ what could they fit in, did you design the crossovers or were they purchased somewhere?

Since you're willing to part these out, would you go down on the price?

thanks

Iam unable to send an e-mail to you via DIY. You could e-mail me .
The cabinets are ported and I did the x-overs using IMP audio Analyzer.

Great deal! I have some monitors with the 18w-8546 and love that driver. Mine use the less expensive 2010 tweet though, which isn’t nearly as impressive as the 2905-XXXX tweets.

Would you mind sharing the crossover schematic? I’d also be interested in the specifics of crossover components, such as gauge size and type (air/iron) of the inductors, if you used bypass caps etc. If you prefer to send an email, mine should be visible in my profile.

Any details on cabinet construction? Material, bracing etc would be helpful if you know. Perhaps you used North Creek’s recommended builder, Lee Taylor, or are these DIY?

Would you ship the whole thing to Colorado? I am interested in just the drivers and crossovers, but if we could ship the cabinets for a sane amount that would be great.

Hey BDP, thanks for the info: I bounced you an email so keep an eye on your junk folder.

One more question: can the crossovers be accessed without cutting? Just curious.
