Hello there. I was going to list the following drivers on Ebay but I thought I would give you guys a crack at these.
3 - FE168 Sigma Drivers - these are the version before the current FE168EZ. Check out the following link for more information - Asking OBO$130.00 http://www.fostexinternational.com/d...fe168sigma.pdf I can also provide you with the design I used - the BS168 base reflex - 2 - FE103 - These are quite old 3" drivers and in good condition considering their age. The cones require re gluing and this is a basic repair that can be done with white glue or modge podge. You can find allot of information on these drivers and designs at: http://www.planet10-hifi.com/index.html http://www.frugal-horn.com/ Asking $80.00 OBO 2 - Nirvana 8's. These great sounding 8" drivers sound the best of all the single drivers I have heard. Huge magnets and great value! Check out the following link for more information. http://www.nirvanaspeakers.com/nirvana.html Asking $70.00 obo 2 - Fostex FE166E - http://www.fostexinternational.com/d...E-Series.shtml Another well know driver from fostex. Asking $70.00 obo All drivers are in great condition and broken in. Please contact me if you would like pictures. I will accept payment from paypal only. My email address is bezzlebubba99@yahoo.ca. Kind Regards, Doug Woodliffe |

I emailed you...
I guess the sigmas are spoken for. I am interested in the Audio Nirvanas and the Fostex FE166E's. Unless the Sigmas are still available.. Then I want those too. Package deal? Prices in US$? Or CA$ Cheers, Erik I used to live about an hour South of you during my junior and high school years. I miss the big sky and the rolling plains. |

The speakers are still available. Please make an offer. The prices I quoted are US dollars and shipping would be extra.
I made a mistake on the pricing of the FE168 Sigmas. It should have read $195 for three or $65 each. A package deal would work well. Kind Regards, Doug Woodliffe |

Yes the big sky is nice but we pay the price - cold and snow! I would rather live a few hundred miles to the south where they get big sky and better weather. It is just starting to warm up now!
Where do you live? Cheers, Doug |

I live in Eugene, Oregon. Rain, rain, rain. Damp. Pollen, hayfever.
It is beautiful though. Could you tell me what version of the Audio Nirvana 8's you have? I am very interested in two of the Sigmas and the AN 8's. How did you like the Sigmas? Erik |

The drivers are the Audio Nirvana 8's. The Fostex drivers are very clear and detailed and sound great with well produced music. I listened to the FE168's on Sunday and really miss the sound. However, I have already committed to a couple of other projects and can't afford to keep all the drivers. I still have an old pair of Fostex OEM drivers and the FE103's (if they do not sell) for future experimentation. I like rock and heavy stuff now and again and decided to make some speakers with a more balanced sound.
I think that the Nirvanas' sound very good. I used a base reflex design and tamed the sound by stuffing the box. Other people have tamed them with a notch filter. All single drivers suffer from ragged response in the upper middle frequencies. However, some people really enjoy the sound. I may set up a third listening room at some point and play only well recorded material on single drivers. I have enough amplifiers and stuff around to do that. Cheers, Doug |

The drivers are the regular 8's not the Super 8's.
