For anyone who is interested, I saw it posted on the mach5audio forums that the pre-order ends April 6th. Now to be patient and wait for my 2 monster subs! Cutting 6 sheets of 3/4 MDF for the boxes should keep me busy for awhile.

The new subs have arrived. The production T/S parameters have changed from the prototype. The VAS is now half of what it used to be. The new T/S parameters are:

Fs = 17.7 Hz
Re = 3.4 Ohms
Qt = 0.37
Qes = 0.39
Qms = 5.59
Mms = 434.3 grams
Cms = 0.184 mm/N
Vas = 274 liters
Sd= 1029.2 cm2
Xmax = 22 mm
Diameter = 36.2 cm

Notice the FS and sensitivity are also slightly up. Here's a few pics of the subs.

At under 200 U.S. for these subs, it has to be one of the best values out there. I'll be building 12 cubic feet tuned to 16 hz for these subs. Can't wait to see what they put out in my home theater!!

Hi,

FYI; The new T/S production parameters show better FR performance for the sono-tube application, see the revised picture where only the T/S is changed.

They move some serious air. My wife is contemplating hard on replacing my 7' towers in favour of these. Of course they won't be towers...
