Just finished my Rhythmik DS12 servo kit
I just finished building up a Rhythmik Audio DS12 servo subwoofer kit the other day. I must say I'm quite impressed with it. I didn't feel like building up a box so I bought the pre-cut generic 2 cu ft sealed box from Parts Express. I have owned an original Sunfire True sub since '96. I was always impressed with the amount of bass it put out, but I never really had anything to reference it against. I got tired of fighting with a ground loop issue I was having with the Sunfire recently and decided to move on.

After just a few days of playing movies/music with the Rhythmik DS12 all I can say is WOW! The bass is so much cleaner and more extended than the Sunfire there is just no comparison really. I think the overall bass output level is probably about the same as the Sunfire True sub, but the quality of what the DS12 is producing is in another class altogether.

I'll post up some pics once I get the box looking a little prettier. I didn't like the grill that Parts express included so I decided to rotate the box and have the driver facing the floor. This meant the precut amp hole was facing up. I cut a new hole for the amp on the back and covered the original upwards facing amp cutout with a scrap of MDF. My plan is to put something attractive on top of the new MDF piece I added, I'm leaning towards a piece of dark granite to make it look more like a table and to add some mass to the cabinet.
