for amps, ive narrowed it doewn to Kicker ZX1000, Kenwood KAC7252, and Alpine MRD- M1005
HOW and WHAT do ohms do and work?
and WHICH SUB/AMP would be the best for me?

ohms are a frequency dependant resistance called "impedance". 8 ohms is twice the impedance of 4 ohms. Never let the ohms drop below what the amp is rated for. Higher is OK but you lose a certain amount of power from the amp.
You will require more reading to get a handle on this stuff. It's not near as simple as it looks. Google is your friend if you are just starting out.
