help needed ASAP.. new to audio

well to start off, im 17 and just getting into audio.

soo please dont flame.

how does the OHMS work and what is better?

my choices are kicker COMP, KENWOOD KFC- (titanium coated cone) and Cerwin Vega VMAX.
Which subwooofer would you recommend, and what amp should i go with it?
for amps, ive narrowed it doewn to Kicker ZX1000, Kenwood KAC7252, and Alpine MRD- M1005

HOW and WHAT do ohms do and work?
and WHICH SUB/AMP would be the best for me?

not to mention the box.. what kinda box?



once again, im new so please dont flame! i need help

ohms are a frequency dependant resistance called "impedance". 8 ohms is twice the impedance of 4 ohms. Never let the ohms drop below what the amp is rated for. Higher is OK but you lose a certain amount of power from the amp.

You will require more reading to get a handle on this stuff. It's not near as simple as it looks. Google is your friend if you are just starting out. :)
