How big are you prepared to go, and what are you trying to achieve with this driver?

i don't want the speaker to be any higher than a common end table and i want them to perform great with movies and still work acceptably for background music during parties.

thank you.

OK so we'll make it as high as a common end table whatever that means, and 3 feet wide and deep?

Try and think about what you are asking instead of rushing your replies and simply posting links to other forums. We're not here to spoon feed you, you have to make some effort yourself.

a good move would be to download Unibox and play with it until you get the numbers you want, or generate alternatives; It'll also help you to understand how the various parameters interact....& give you the port dimensions...

you cannot download anything on the work computer. i was just looking for someone who knew how the room affected the subwoofer and could suggest a sealed and ported box for a room like a theatre.

First suggestion, measure the parameters as there might be a reason these are buyouts...

the company that builds these is very reputable and will state specs accurately. the driver was intended for a car audio install. i wanted to use it in a home set up is all.

i may build this type of box as the parts are easy to attain.
