Unibox gives me 80L for a sealed box, ~6dB down at 30 Hz
200L for ported.... rather large, if you want to get it flat all the way down to 20Hz

How big are you prepared to go, and what are you trying to achieve with this driver?

i would like the woofer to work well in a home theatre set up.

i don't want the speaker to be any higher than a common end table and i want them to perform great with movies and still work acceptably for background music during parties.

a good move would be to download Unibox and play with it until you get the numbers you want, or generate alternatives; It'll also help you to understand how the various parameters interact....& give you the port dimensions...

you cannot download anything on the work computer. i was just looking for someone who knew how the room affected the subwoofer and could suggest a sealed and ported box for a room like a theatre.

First suggestion, measure the parameters as there might be a reason these are buyouts...

the company that builds these is very reputable and will state specs accurately. the driver was intended for a car audio install. i wanted to use it in a home set up is all.

i may build this type of box as the parts are easy to attain.
