Default Holy *&^P!

I think this sub will be excellent for any setup and should perform as well or better than most 2K subs out there. The way to really bring this sub over the edge is to incorporate a digital EQ like RDES or Velodyne's SMS.

How big is your listening area?

listening area is 12w X 9h X 25l. I sit about 10' away and the speakers are 8' apart.

Default Looks Good!

Sonds like this will work out well!

I have the sub volume on mine down at about 9:00 on the gain dial with the Sub level on my receiver at about -5 and it is still almost too powerful for my 10 x 11 x 12 room.

Somehow, I think this will work excellently for you. if you want to get really insane, try kit #3, using two drivers.

Default No Boom

This speaker does not "boom"...

...it merely fills you with awe at its almighty power.

The 30 hz heartbeat at the beginning of DSOTM, thunder, and explosions are very realistic and have never felt forced - just very cool...

Hello gentleman,
I just happened to stumble on to this site today. I am glad to hear the good press towards Rythmik, as I just bought one of their 12" standard kits last week.

Hey Ferret,
What is DSOTM?

Thanks Ric,

Hello to the other side of the pond. Dark Side of The Moon is, of course, Pink Floyd, right?

Default Dark Side of the Moon

Pink Floyd's DSOTM is used my many as a reference. For me, the heartbeat at the opening of the album makes a really good indicator for bass response: it hits at about 30Hz.

Has anyone tried a pair of the 15" drivers?

Ray
