I was planning on getting a TC Sounds 2000, put it in a 10cuft box tuned to ~14hz. However i waited to long and they are on back order for 2+ months.
This is mainly for HT with a little coverage for music. size of box dosent matter. I am now looking at doing 4 TC sounds db-500 12" in a 10-12 cuft box tuned to ~17 as it will end up being about the same cost in the end. Also from what i can tell the graphs look pretty good (not that i really know that much) I could really use some input as i am lookin to get the order done for the 500s if they look good to all of you, mainly cuz i dont know how long the sale will continue for. I am only putting 750watts to them in the graphs, they should handle ~1600 or so. Thanks allot for everyone's input as i do need the help and suggestions to make myself confident in this project. That'll do 'er. Unless you have an arena to fill.
Should be great, just remember: overbuilding doesn't exist for subs. Overdo the box, ribs are a very good way to do high-strength bracing, as are interlocking braces. Simply doubling up the wall thickness is less effective and takes more mass and space than either of these solutions.
