What should I do with these? (15" Eminence)

If you don't have an application in mind, why buy them?

A large vented box is the most common alignment for a woofer like that. I'd recommend an EBS alignment, and possibly a highpass filter beneath tuning.

There are lots of DIY versions of this floating around on the web. You could do something similare with a mid-range fostex fullrange driver.....

well lower and louder the better...space is not a massive issue...

Being a PA driver, you'll have a hard time getting low. What you get is that good ol' thump ya in the chest. Plenty of volume but accuracy is not the highlight. Great for parties and outdoors.

badman's idea of the highpass is good but I 've never bothered myself.

See if ebay has any Altec A7 cabinets. They do wonders to a woofer like that.

This speaker is not suited to true subwoofer duty, the low power design for low F3 that is on the eminince website, is endowed with a HPF at 40+hz.

I would agree that this driver should be used in a top cab with a higher cutoff frequency..

The altec a7 looks promising..

You could try some speakerplans cabs as well.
They have horn loaded and non horn loaded designs for free off the site.

I made many boxes with this speaker.
This is not for HI FI use, only for PA use, best performance in 2way crossover .
Good speaker, but "ELCTRO VOICE " is "ELECTRO VOICE"
