daisy chaining an electronic crossover

what happens if I feed the output of an electronic subwoofer crossover to the input of a similar electronic subwoofer crossover.

the crossover is an 18DB per octave, will I get an 36 DB per octave crossover ?... is this a good or bad idea ?

Yea that's exactly what will happen, I do that quite often in car audio.

Not really, it's a pretty steep slope but other factors (the room, the sattellites response, the sub driver its's self) will have a larger influence on intergration than the x-over slope, in my opinion.
