hi & hello
i have a sony mini hifi system (mhc-gx 2000) with 100w rms with 6 ohm impedence with two speakers set.i have a sleek dvd player which i connect to the aux input of this sony player for audio .i want to make a woofer which can i connect to this setup for extra bass . i have gone through the forum i have some queries regarding that can i connect woofer directly to sony player or else i require i driver .i seen peerless , dayton ,danity woofers r best . i will prefer 8inch or 10inch woofers since my music room is small .does any bod y knows the cost of woofer ,drivers with cabinet .pls help me out i am located in mumbai pls guide me |

you will likely need a driver and a plate amp...
The cost of the entire sub will largely depend on what drivers and amplifiers are available to you and what they cost... I think you could build something that would satisfy you for about U.S. $100 in parts...(assuming you have access to some of the same equipment we have here for a similar price)
