Does anyone have plans of the A.S.S RX9 or RX18 scoop bass bins?
My friend does but he wanted £20 for some photocopied A.S.S scoop plans which I thought was a bit much for copied plans. When they should be free. Most of the other speaker plans are floating around on the net. But no one has posted up any A.S.S scoop plans yet though. My m8 has got 2 of the A.S.S copy bins loaded with PD1850 and they beat every other scoop out there including the Super Scooper18 made by Rog Mogale. The 2 A.S.S scoops my m8 has got, go much deeper[to around 30hz] than other scoops. Thats why I'm so eager to get my hands on the A.S.S plans, plus my m8s want the plans too. http://www.assspeakers.com/gallery1.htm The RX18 goes to 35hz for a single scoop on its own which is really amazing. |

Compared to the cost of building a few scoops (ply / drivers / glue / paint etc) £20 for plans is nothing. That said he's not much of a friend if he wants to charge you for intellectual property that isn't even his to sell.
Rob. btw, why should the plans be free ? |

Plans are available at speakerplans dot com You might ask about there but they dont like passing out designs for current products especially since Tony is so helpful with info. You could aways rent one and get your tape out.
