The sound is very good, clean, fast with fabulous Bass (6") and greater

You're surely getting some very bad edge diffraction from the dome tweeter, you would do well to construct a sub-baffle for it, one the cabinet width with a rounded top (and edges rounded over, or at least beveled) would improve the tweeter response greatly, IMHO.
