Hi all,
I've been trying to draw a PCB from a LT schematic and I give up. I'm using Easy PC 5 for windows and everytime I tell it place all the parts from the component bin to the PCB design it just sticks everything willy nilly.Things dont get put where I need them. I would like to place all my coneectors down one side of the board, but get confused when I move things around. How can I simplify things and get an uncomplicated layout? EasyPC 5.0 from Number One Systems. P71 from Rod Elliotts site. Headache from everything else.

Auto-routing is probably more trouble than it's worth for this small a project. For simple layouts I think it's better to just route manually.
