Default Is the Bash 300 plate amp airtight?

I'm sure someone has used the Bash Digital 300 watt plate amp on sale at Parts Express.

Is it airtight? Just wondering if I can get away with not boxing off the amp cutout on my new sub.

Hi,

AFAIK all plate amplifiers are designed to be airtight and have a gasket.
