Subwoofer Eton 12-680/62HEX your suggestion?
Hi
I need to make subwoofer for Home Theater so vented box to make high SPL On Eton 12-680/62HEX. I have this driver already. Fs=26Hz, Vas=150l, Qts=0.34 BassBox6 gave me Vb=69l, Fb=29Hz, F3=38Hz. I guess this is OK But your advise will be welcome. Side firing or bottom firing to make? what is difference? If bottom firing how high should be driver from bottom? |

I also have this driver but intend to use it as a sub not over 100hz.
Considering my room size (9x12ft or 3x4m) perhaps a sealed design would supply sufficient SPL I intend to measure its T/S to get more accurate box predictions. I've heard this driver in a 4th order bandpass design in the German Ascendo System M loudspeaker and found it extremely musical. In this alignment it rolls off after 120hz. I'm tossing between sealed and this alignment myself. How high do you intend to cross at? |
I want to buy two Eton 12-680/62HEX
