I would like some pointers on how to design a 'series tuned double bass reflex' also known as 'ABC' box. The type of enclosure with the driver in a ported box, but the driver fires into free space and the port fires into another enclosure which is then ported into free space.
the MJK worksheets have a model for this type of enclosure but I would just like some pointers on where to start my design. I'm looking at using an old JBL gti sub with the following parameters: Fs 37Hz Vas 56.6l, 2.4CuFt Qe 0.52 Qm 4.89 Qt 0.47 Xmax 11mm any advice. |
