Has anyone used either the Peerless 830846 or 830842 10" subs? I can't decide whether to use either the 830846 in a vented box or use the 830842 with a PR as per the peerless application notes.
Also has anyone built any of these subs as detailed on the Peerless website? Any feedback on either of these subs would be appreciated. |

If you choose the 830846, make sure you have the amplification that is stable into 3 ohms.
The 830842 doesn't have the same problem but does dip to 3.9 ohm so any 4 ohm stable amp would suffice.
