What brand is this speaker, maybe it is the bass box pro modeler

it is a phoenix digital square woofer

This woofer will have a hump in its response unless you put it in a very large box (at least Vas in size). It is my opinion that it may have been designed for parcel shelf use directly into the car's boot.

it says the ported box recommendation is smaller than the sealed box recommended.

sealed 68 l

ported 47.6 l

with 100mm inside port diameter

and 215 mm long.

Here is what your response may look like. The pink trace is for the 68 litre sealed box, then blue trace is for the vented box.

i figured the ported box would be larger.

not a very good woofer is it.

i have 4 of them from a couple of years ago.

These are car woofers aren't they? If they are going into a car, the bass needs will be different and they will probably be good.
