bass traps?

Any threads on DIY Bass traps (figure this is related to subwoofers)?

Plenty out there. Many proprietary, some DIY. Look at patents, and look at helmholtz resonators.

What do most folks here use? Im thinking i need to clean up the accoustics in my room abit. My room is about 7 foot high by 24foot long by 15 foot wide with a carpet no pad on the floor on concrete with a drop ceiling and sheet rock walls.
Just wondering if most of the people in this forum use comercial trapps or tube trapps or insulation bundles or Helmoltz resonators (although i thought those were mostly for high frequency)?
