PD2150 impedance, are 4ohm and 8ohm re-cones interchangeable?

As above, my emails to PD have fallen on deaf ears. I have an 8Ohm PD2150, can I re-cone it as a 4Ohm version with just the 4ohm re-cone kit or are the motors different?

Identical IIRC, so you should be ok.

I couldn't believe they would be different but but wanted to check before blowing £150 on a recone kit that didn't fit.
