My best bids would be either the Monacor SPH-380TC / SPH-450TC, both are with 2x 4Ohm voice coils, which connected in series gives a BL-factor of 25Tm / 32,4Tm respectively and they are rated at 2x 250W / 2x 350 W RMS and have a fs at 21,5 Hz / 20 Hz.

I plan on using a single SPH-380TC for a sub as soon as I can afford one.

The same place that has the ultimate tweeter, midrange and woofer also sells the ultimate subwoofers, 15 and 18 inch.
They even have the ultimate car and ultimate beer there too, so bring your credit card and cheque book.

AJ

Couldn't wait for me to tell you where that place was? Ok, the place that sells (or soon will) the "ultimate" driver (subwoofer, tweeter, you name it) is here: http://www.ologyaudio.com/

More about the products can be found here http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=74170 and here http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=67758

This way it's much easier when the inevitable periodic thread about "Ultimate/best >insert tweeter, mid, woofer, etc here<" to just give a single link for them all.

cheers,

AJ

p.s. just kidding about the beer, they may not be old enough to sell it ;)

Rome wasn't built in a day. Neither are 1kw/99db tweeters or 22mm xmax HE fullrange/midbasses. These things take time to develop. Patience ye of little faith. Patience.

cheers,

AJ

I thought you were implying that these were available to buy. I've also just realised that your talking about the products that Matt is developing.

Sorry my mistake and yes, they do look rather tasty spec wise.
