Corner dipole - possible ?
If you have the chance, why not go cut a couple pieces of wood and let us know. I for one would like to "hear" the results, including shifting the boards around; ie: changing the angles.
I'm lucky, it's a "play with speakers" day for me but I'm dealing with the other end of the scale, trying to get a mid bass to mate with a full range and a ribbon tweeter. Lot's of hours, no great results yet.

Won't that be a waste of power and drivers?

Due to the length of low frequency waves, most if not all the output of such a system will cancel out because the system is forced to radiate only into the "cancellation angles".

I have never seen something like this, and don't understand what the purpose can be. I understand the dipole principle, and the importance of the corners, but ...

well, it may be interesting.

... actually it has it's point.

Have you seen this for stereo application?
What is beyond the speaker?
