Has anyone done a comparsion of Dayton 10" Subs? There are some many options, I am not sure the strength and weakest of each.
DAYTON ST255-8 10" SERIES II WOOFER DAYTON SD270-88 10" SHIELDED DVC SUBWOOFER DAYTON DC250-8 10" CLASSIC WOOFER DAYTON RS270S-8 10" REFERENCE SERIES SHIELDED WOOFER DAYTON RSS265HF-4 10" HIGH FIDELITY SUBWOOFER DAYTON RSS265HO-4 10" HIGH OUTPUT SUBWOOFER I think you could do the same thing for thier 12" subs....

above all-else (even freq. linearity to a point), low distortion for a given spl is King in a subwoofer (..or at least a real subwoofer)
therefor if you can accept other compromises in design flexibility the pick of the lot is #5
