Hi
I am planing on building a sub for useing it for home theater and music with a bpa200 amp. Will this VISATON W 300 S 8 OHM be suitable??? In a vented box, what will be the best F3 ? The box will be pretty big (relative to what I call big, which is bigger than 60 litres) for vented.

With a box max 70 liter i will be ok but i think the F3 is not the suitable for a home theater usage.Is it?

With a 70 litre limit you are going to struggle to get a low enough F3 for anything, and the response in a vented box at least will be very peaky.
This is a job for a sealed box and Linkwitz Transform.

Thanks for the help.I think i will go with a beter sub.Have a look at this infinity.The only disadvantages is it coasts 50euro more than the visaton and i am afraid that the bpa200 will run hote with a 4ohm load.I think this one can go 20hz F3 in vented.
