I'd like a tall, narrow columnar sub with multiple drivers. Has anyone tried this or have a link to such a project? Any opinions about how it would sound? I'm thinking that putting together 4 really high-quality drivers, perhaps Scan-Speak 8" kevlar cones, would make for a very musical sub. Also, it would look cool (IMO).

Sure you can do it. It won't be very cost effective compared with, say, a single 15" and it may be tough to get it to sound as good but if you think it will look cool...
