I've been looking over the archives on the subject of the "Bose Cannon" sub woofer. Has anyone tried appling the concept of the Karlson Coupler to the ends of the cannon to smooth out any ripples etc in the freq responce. I would think that It would be usable with ether the straight or the folded types

I made an attempt to build a B**e Acoustic Wave Cannon.
This was based on G.R. Koonce' work. I made it to fit in my son's 1983 Dodge Ramcharger, so it is large. The drawing also shows some portable extensions for 20Hz work. bwhitejr |

Ok people, This is not a Bose bashing thread. Anyone who posts anything negative about or for that matter boasts about the product shall be dealt with swiftly. Can you say sinbin? There are other threads for that. Do a search. |

Ok,
In an attempt to be politically correct I will mention that the Bose cannons are not by any means efficient in terms of power needed to produce the signal. |
