I second that. The T1 only has 14 mm of xmax, while the AV15 has 23 mm. The sensitivity of the AV15 is higher than that of the T1. Overall, for about half the price of the T1, the AV15 will get you about the same output if not more, but it will sound a lot cleaner at high volumes than the T1.

The AV series woofers are inexpensive compared to some, but were designed to give the most performance for the money. The last 40 AV woofers to be built with the original motor (based on the old TC Sounds design for Stryke Audio) will be available soon, from what I hear. Then they are getting a bigger voice coil and a much stronger motor. They will be drop-in replacements for the old ones, and prices will not go up.

Attention the Mms is way too high with 353 g ...
The SPL is given at 2.83V SPL (dB) 91.15 ; what it is at 1 volt ?

Better keep it for car use.
