Hi,
I have no foreign language, so here goes. Do you have two exit mouths? One in the front and one facing towards the corner? What effect does the corner have on the EXTERNAL horn flare? Is AM2.1m the two mouth areas added together? Is AM3m the corner flare exit mouth?

Hello Andrew,
right. both mouths left and right open in the corner at 2,13 m than it opens greater than simulated to 3 m approx. 1,5 qm, so the horn ends not abrupt into the room. I listen to it 7 hours, it is not so direct and punchi like the alphorn but lighter, easier, more transparent and a bit more contur, there might be also a frontloaded effect in opposite to backloaded. DorinD: Thanks

Shouldnt you add a top plate so the horn path really extends to the front instead of going "over the top"of the cabinet ?

Ah-ha,
I didnt know you were an expert on horns already What do you mean by "frontloaded effect" ? I like transparent sound Does this cornerhorn do bass better than the other shapes you have tried (natural bass reproduction)? The mouth is very large so this might explain why you say less punchy than.. Regards, Coolin |

it might be that the corner horn
make better contur and transparens because the direct sound of the driver by backloaded is lost. You listen only horn. I tested it already with a friend fantastic sound, effortlessness, no location of the bass, super. i know only german language to describe. with the HORN-sat with B 200 Visaton excellent, when the HORN sats make 0,5 Watt impulse, i am getting afraid of my neighbour. For me the best bass i ever constructed. The box is only 196 L with a mouth with 1.5 qm !! Next: measurement in a 80 qm room.
