The Dayton RSS315HF-4 driver, for example, states freq response up to 1000Hz.
Assuming they were in stereo, active crossover, etc, any reason not to cross them over in that 300-500 range, or is that too high? |

They didn't tested the frequency response so we don't know.
You could cross it at 500 Hz, that's mostly the maximum to prevent lobing with a 12 inches subwoofer. You would need to elevate it closer to your ears or it will sound awful.
