My home theatre is up and running but my sub doesn't sound very well with music. I have access to concrete form tubes. What i want to build is a 15 or 18" tube sub. Matter of fact i want two of them, for a 2 channel amp i had lying around. My question is does anybody have a cost effective design for this? I don't care if i use car sub's just want loud deep bass for friday and saturday parties that i host several times a month. They dont have to be audiophile certified my HT has all that. If you need to know the amp has 700watt/2 so each sub would have 350watt each. Thanks in advance for any help.

For cost effective 'party' subs I'd be looking at pro drivers.. Not small boxes though...

buy a pair of the dayton 18" pa drivers at partsexpress and fiddle around with those. Properly done those things can get rediculously loud.
And the boxes wont be small, live with it.
