Hi,

I ordered Dayton 12DVC driver but I recieved it defected. I want to send it back and order new one. But now I'm thinkink about these two drivers: http://www.stryke.com/SAE1204.html
http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=295-464

I have 250 W amp from rythmik audio. Sub will be closed, only for music.
What will be your advice?

Thanks Martin

Sounds about what I'm building too. But I ordered and received the Parts Express Titanic. Looking to build two acoustic suspension subs. Likely will use the volume they suggest but stretch the cabinet some to allow for them to become bottom cabinets for my MTM speakers. I'll be curious as to what responses you get here.

If you already designed a nice box for the DVC, the Stryke part should be a drop-in replacement.

Keep in mind, the Stryke parts may or may not still be available as the company name changed to Acoustic Elegance.

Additionally ...

There's information on the Cult of the Infinite Baffle forum that AE is no longer responding to E-mail messages, phone calls and orders that have been placed 2 months ago have not been shipped, yet.

Hi,

Finally I decided to go with Eminence Lab 12 driver, inspired with this: http://www.audiofanatic.it/Diffusori.../il_bimbo.html

I'll report back the results.
Thanks Martin

Well, the Stryke driver is actually only still available from Acoustic Visions.
