Just passing on the news, enjoy
Plenty of copper in the motors, 14mm linear throw, aluminium cone, high output and high fidelity versions offered. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=295-464 http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=295-466 There are 10 inch versions too. Really like the look of them, wish i was in the US, they would be toooo expensive to ship overseas |

Wow, those are real nice looking drivers. Definately a lot of bang for your buck here. I wonder how they compare sound quality wise to my Ascendant Audio Atlas.

If you are sure that you want a vented enclosure you should use the Dayton high output reference drivers and not the high fidelity. The high fidelity work best in a sealed enclosure and the high output work best in a vented. I don't know which alignment the AV12 works best in and I also don't know anything about the frequency response or distortion figures of these drivers. More would have to be known in order to recommend one over another.

what would be a good volume for a sealed box to hold that HiFi Dayton? I have one, and it is very very impressive, very very well built. I am gonna build a sub with it at: Tade no subwoofer.
