Exclamation Distortion !PLEASE HELP!!

Hi

I have 2x Kenwood KFC W3009 subs in a 113L (4 Cubic Feet) box with 2x Ports, 10.5cm by 28cm in size.
I am running them with a Blaster Monoblock 1200w, 400w rms @ 2ohm amp.

The bass sounds distorted and mixed up at 80% front loader volume. Under this volume the bass is good but soft.

Can you please tell me if I need to get more powerful amp or if my box is the wrong size?

Thanks

Well, first your box is tuned at 36 Hz, so if you like deeper bass than that, your subwoofers can't take it.

Block one port with tightly packed socks, try again and report back please. That will tune your box to 25 Hz.
