Total Newbie: Where to Start?

I'm just starting to look at building my own subwoofer and was fortunate enough to find this forum.

I've searched through many of the posts here and seen many newbies with many of the same questions.

I don't want to pester y'all with questions you answered a zillion times. So my question is: what books should I read to gain a fundamental understanding of subwoofer design?

I did search the forum and didn't see that question answered. If I can get my hands on a good book or three I can avoid having to ask all the newbie questions here.
