Default hivi sub...

Hi there.. I have just made the http://www.zaphaudio.com/audio-speaker18.html and now i got a hivi m6a unit i want for a little sub, but im not quite sure about box volume and vent size...

and can you reccommend a diy active crossover to use with it... it should go from 150hz and down.. right??

anyone that could help me with vent size.. cabinet size is around 18 l.. is that all wrong???

16 L with a 2 inch port 5 inches long is 51 Hz according to solens' website

Rod Elliot has a design for a Linkwitz-Riley 24dB/octave 2 or 3 way crossover. He can supply circuit boards if you want to do it easy...

thanks... is it possible to make it to cut around 150hz instead of 310hz?? it looks nice..

At the bottom of the page for that project is a downloadable calculator to let you pick the components for whatever frequency you need to cross over at.

About the middle of the page are the formulas
