Think your confusing VAS for displacement. 2 Av 18s displace 6.5L each for 13L, 1 Tumult 18 displaces 7.13L.

oop, Yep perusing info too quickly. Went to Vas instead of Vd.

Either way 2 Av18s will displace more air than a single Tumult18 for roughly the same price. Although Adire's prices are msrp, as far as parroted information can go. So this may be moot depending on street prices for new Adire gear.

i bet a tumult 18 can be had for $650-700 and you would be one of the first to own probably the loudest woofer on the market that can still retain superior SQ. but i still dont like the new pricing.

aaah, for get that, just build a woofer wall with 4 peerless xls 10,s and a passive radiator for each 10. tune it to 20Hz. that will **** off the neighbors.

XLS 10 isn't in the same league as an 18" Tumult.

Hell, 4 would probably get you close to a single Tumult.
