hello.

How do you know if your bass driver is good for dipole?

Wich parameters are the moust inportant?

thanks.

Take it out of the box and give it a listen.

In terms of ease in making bass without EQ, having a reasonably high Qts is important.

In terms of maximum SPL in the lower frequencies Sd and Xmax are what's important because a dipole sub needs to displace about 4 times the air of a sealed sub.

Adding to Johns remarks:
In a dipole sub the noise generated behind the cone is not muffled by any enclosure. Chuffing should be prevented by generous venting. So you should look for holes in the pole piece, in the spider or in the basket behind the spider.

Regarding Qts:
Remember that there is no enclosure to raise the system Qt above the driver Qts. So a driver Qts=0.7 would be fine. Qts up to 1 wouldn´t be bad either. Drivers with low Qts (0.5 or less) will need increasing equalisation of the driver roll off(added to the equalisation of the dipole rollof of the open baffle). For instance a driver with Qts~0.3 will easily need a total of +20dB to stay linear to half its Fs.
