Default This driver and EBS alignment

Hi guys,
I need help with this driver from you experts .My intention is to build subwoofer for my HT and after lot of reading I discasrded my first plan to use this driver with LT mainly because this aligment require lot of amp power and decided to go with EBS.Since this driver is fairly cheap I think that is good for first subwoofer project. For information my front speakers will be Dayton III and center Triuna , you can find them in PartsExpress project Showcase .So here are the questions:
Is can it be used in EBS alignment?
Second question is what type of active filter match this alignment?
Thanks in advance!

The AXX 1515 has potential.

Download winisd pro from www.linearteam.dk and see how it looks.

The Visaton driver is low power, and doesnt reveal Xmax rating. You can calculate xmax from Hg and Hc[input these into winisd ]

Compare these drivers to the 'adire audio shiva' which are preloaded into winisd pro :-)

read the helpfiles in winisd.

Active filter is easy- 2nd,3rd or 4th order at 60hz-100hz.

Cheers!

Hi Mike.e,

What do Hg and Hc stand for and do you happen to know the formula used by WinISD to calculate Xmax?

Thanks.

Its stated in the winisd helpfile!

,There are one or two calculations. They are approximate,i never fret over 10% differences in xmax

Coil gap and height or something, its been a while since ive used those inputs-i dont normally need to
