Default Need help to build box for this SUB

I have VisoniK V126D4 Sub, according to manufacuture recomdation

Sealed Enclosure --> Minimum --1cuft, -3db-->40hz, maximum-->1.75cuft, -3dbdown--48Hz

ported enclosure--> 2.25cuft, -3db-->34hz, port tuned to 35hz
port length 12.25" dia--> 3", number of ports-->2,

this is what the manufautre manual says, for optimal subwoofer performance. the volume parameters are calculated to include the displacement byt the subwoofer magnet and basket.

****NOW
when I use the online calculators i get completely different results
for sealed Enclosure I get 2.25 cuft for QTC around 0.72

for vented I get around 4.25Cuft.

the Subparameters are

Fo--->35.83hz
Qms-->5.98
Qes-->0.58
Qts--->0.53
Vas-->51.83leters
revc-->1.6ohms
spl @ 1 watt/1meter (db)-->87.99
Xmax-->16mm
Levc at 1Khz-->0.92

so i would like to know which design consideration should I take the one with manufacutre manual or one with the onlin calculators.

Also I have been through the cardaudio website and they suggest that if Fs/Qes is close to 50 then sealed enclousure should be used. To get max performance of the sub

I've found in car audio, sub manufacturers almost always suggest smaller boxes that you would use for home audio. This tends to maximize power handling and output at the expense of low end extension. This tends to work out ok as cabin gain makes up for most of the loss of extension.

Putting your TS parameters into my program I get:

Driver parameters
.....Name: Visonik V126D4
.....Fs: 35.8300 Hz
.....Qts: 0.5300
.....Vas: 51.8300 l
Box parameters
.....Name: Sub
.....Fc: 47.8031 Hz
.....Qtc: 0.7071
.....Vb: 66.4493 l
.....Response: Butterworth
.....F3: 47.8031 Hz
.....Alpha: 0.7800
.....Box type: infinite baffle

So I suppose what you got when you tried is about right. I would agree with the previous post about recommended car sub box sizes being too small for home use. I'd also say that at Qts=0.53 it's no good for a vented box.
