Default Bipolar subs?

Are the woofer towers on the Genesis 201's firing in a bipolar pattern? I'm pretty sure they are, because the brochuer specifically states that the mid/tweet column is radiating dipole, but no mention of the woofers. There are 4 8" on the front of the box and 4 more on the back.

Not sure about the Genesis, but a sub will be omnipolar even with just a single driver. using 2 drivers push-push (ie in a bipole arrangement) is also ominpolar but with the advantage of newtonian force cancelation.
