Default DIY transducers

I am gripped by dazzling visions of them at odd times of the day and night!

Started a thread recently.
DIY transducers--the final frontier

A teaser: Just yesterday I drew up a concept for a 10" ELF sub driver designed for 6" (yes sports fans, six inches) of excursion--sort of a Sunfire true sub killer. Of course, with excursions like that, you must rethink everything, beginning with the magnetic circuit and suspension. It also requires an amplifier with three discrete switched outputs to handle +, +/-, and - bands of the waveform.

Default Oh! you mean transducers!

Ok, so I didn't quite gather the fact that you were wondering about DIY *tactile* transducers...until just now.

Sorry, I don't dream/have visions about those. But I'll take a nap now and see what comes of it.
