Hi, Everyone.

Can someone recommend a 15” sub that can handle 20-160hz fairly flat and be used in a relatively small sealed cabinet with out a DSP or equalization? I do understand that some box tuning will need to happen. Need around 90db at 1w 1m.

Thanks!

So I think I found the sub, but did I get the measurements right for an active subwoofer with this two way system?

My goal is for a nice smooth and flat response around 100db, this way I can just tune it down and tune the left and right channel up a bit, mess with the volume until the music is about 95db at 1m.

This is the sub I chose:

Here's me entering the parameters: https://www.screencast.com/t/LJJd5LGkRkNi

Here's the SPL curve I'm getting with 5 watts in a 2.5 ft^3 enclosure: https://www.screencast.com/t/2LVAht8WyI

That enclosure has an external diameter of of 22 x 22 x 16 with about 1/2 ft^3 of bracing: https://www.screencast.com/t/WR5ENC4S0tPf

Let me know if my math all looks good here and if you guys think this sub is a good match?

Cheers,
Joey

I would have chosen a Dayton subwofer driver without hesitation, they have a very good quality price ratio!
But they are not available in my country, so I had to choose Eminence and not exactly the most appropriate model.

The graphics look very good and the software makes mathematics ..... what is your specific concern?
