Who has experience for Dayton titanic MKII?
I want to build a pair of subwoofer. The box volume limited to 60-120 Liters. I searched Parts-Express Web to find 12" speaker unit for home audio, calculated the F3 ,Xmax one by one. Finaly I feel that "Dayton titanic MKII" may be the best one. But I did not found the measurement result for it's THD or diyers report. So I am wandering if the "Dayton titanic MKII" is the best. Thanks.

454,
No, I don't know him personally. I found that link on the Parts Express board. Titantics are well known over there. What is a Pioneer XLS 12? I've never heard of it. Anyone have a link? |

Thanks for all.
After reading your reply, I calculated 3 drivers mentioned above by UniBox (Excel tool). But I did not find the "Adire Audio Shiva". The results display to "F3(Hz) - Level(db) at 20Hz" followed. Example: "38 - 101" means "F3 is 38Hz and sound level is 101db at 20Hz". Driver Type (1)NHT1259 (2)peerless XLS12 (3)Dayton TitanMKII (4) Audiocone. DV12 Fs(Hz) (1)19, 16.5 (2)18.1 (3)22 (4)17 Qts (1)0.46, 0.46 (2)0.199 (3)0.41 (4)0.44 SPLmax at Pn(db) (1)107,107 (2)112.6 (3)112 (4)109 closed 66LBox (1)30 - 98 ,28 - 98 (2)80 - 99 (3)38 - 101 (4)32 - 97 closed 120L (1)27 - 100,27 - 100 (2)83 - 100(3)38.3 - 103 (4)27 - 101 vented 66L Box (1)29 - 99 ,28 - 98 (2)31 - 97 (3)27 - 104 (4)33 - 97 vented 120L (1)22 - 104,22 - 103 (2)26 - 100 (3)21 - 109 (4)27 - 102 It seems that the NHT1259 is similar to TitanicMKII. Could somebody induce me to have more THD data or compare the sound's quality.

I believe the Titanic is a clone of the NHT 1259 - that's why they model similarly.
